Yaasa
Yaasa started in 2016 with the vision of revolutionizing ergonomic office furniture. However, rapid growth and international expansion brought with it technical challenges. The original shop on a WordPress-based system worked well at first, but became more and more complex over time.
Each country had its own domains, content and administration structures - a nightmare for updates and new features. To manage the complexity, parts of the shop were outsourced to external fulfillment providers, but the manual effort remained high. Yaasa needed a central solution that would unite its international shops and automate time-consuming processes.
The solution?
The switch to Shopify Plus and Shopify Markets brought about a change. Now all international shops can be managed centrally - with the exception of the Swiss store, which remains separate because it has its own warehouse. What was previously distributed across ten subdomains and two content domains is now clearly managed via one international shop. Thanks to Shopify Flow, many manual processes have been automated, saving the Yaasa team a huge amount of time. Changes can now be made with just a few clicks, and the focus can once again be fully on growing the brand.

What has this changed for Yaasa?
The migration to Shopify Plus has not only made it easier for Yaasa to manage international markets, but also optimized the online shop. Tasks that were previously outsourced to an external fulfillment provider are now handled efficiently in-house. Automated processes run smoothly in the background - without manual effort. The result: more time for innovation and growth.
“Before migrating to Shopify, many of our ecommerce processes were outsourced to third parties. With Shopify Plus, we now are in full control of every touchpoint that our customers have with our brand and can provide them with a delightful end-to-end user experience.”
