From a turnover of approx. 18.000 € per month we recommend, alone because of the fees, the Shopify plan. At the latest from a monthly turnover of approx. 50.000 € we recommend the upgrade to the Shopify Advanced Plan.

transaction fees

In addition to Shopify fees, transaction fees should also play an important role when choosing your pricing plan. If your business already generates a lot of revenue every month, it may make sense to choose the Shopify plan or even the Shopify Advanced plan, as the commission will be significantly lower.

Choosing the right payments & payment gateways

When using Shopify Payments, the additional fees for manual payments such as bank transfer and invoice are waived.

Payment processing costs

Whether you are a customer or an entrepreneur, everyone knows that choosing the right payment provider is one of the decisive criteria. It's no wonder that many payment providers also want to earn money from your sales. It gets complicated when you want to integrate multiple payment providers - and that's exactly what you need to do to sell successfully. Often you have a confusing influx of payments, receipts and especially fees to manage. In addition, all processors want to be neatly integrated into the store and should not prevent your customers from completing the transaction through unnecessary redirects and additional input masks. You save yourself all that by using Shopify Payments. The setup is automatic and you can immediately integrate all important payment providers in your online store. You'll find all your customers' payments, whether with PayPal, credit card, Klarna, ApplePay, etc. directly in your store dashboard and don't have to worry about anything else. We've already explained above how this also saves you transaction fees. From our point of view as Shopify experts, Shopify Payments is therefore unrivaled and makes your life easier.

Shopify Lite

Shopify Lite is the most basic package of Shopify. Here, it's all about adding Shopify functionality to your social media accounts, selling directly to your Facebook audience, and adding a so-called Buy button to an existing website or blog. The Lite plan makes sense if you only have a limited number of products or if e-commerce is only on the periphery of your actual business. Shopify Lite can be added for $9 per month.
